The Carly Collection

The Carly Collection is part of SEC Willows but is run entirely by one of our students.

It is a jewellery business where a group of students who suffer anxiety and emotional issues meet in a relaxed atmosphere to make jewellery and chat about the stresses and strains of the day. Products are sold at live events.

Another business set up by one of our students,

Set up in a similar manner to the Carly Collection, K&K by Nuria has students making products by crocheting whilst taking the opportunity to de-stress from the day and week. Products are sold in our shop and at live events.

Meet Anneka our Rice Horse Box. Students of Willows plan to convert it into a working Street Food Van.

We have three teams in place: Engineers, Interior Designers and Chefs:

The Engineers will raise the box from the ashes and turn it into a food ready vehicle ready for interiors; The Interior Designers will design the overall look, name and make the furnishings; Finally, the Chefs will use the box to cater for external events around Cardiff in addition to special events throughout the year.

The profits made from food will be shared between the three teams. When finished, the box will be sold and those monies used to pay back supplies used and to purchase our next box to repeat the project. The overall goal is to become a self-funded annual project by year three.
